Total weight loss since day 1: 1 stone 7 lb
Luckily I didn't put on any weight yesterday so the 3 lb that I lost...stays lost!
Didn't fancy a green smoothie this morning...the thought of it made me feel a bit queasy funnily enough. So instead I had a banana and pineapple smoothie which was thick, sweet and lush and gave me all the energy I needed to give me a blinding workout at the gym.
The owner of the gym, Marina, informed me that I will be getting a new workout card on Monday...and it will be muy fuerte (very tough!) So I look forward to the challenge.
Have to tell you that I jumped on the cinta (treadmill) and for the first time since I've been to this gym I JOGGED for 10 mins - I was well pleased with myself!
Also since I've lost my 1 stone 7 lb, my partner shared with me today that I haven't snored for 2 weeks! This just goes to show how the excess weight was affecting my breathing while I slept.
For lunch I just had 1 avocado and a few raw flax seed crackers, then I set about working in the garden for the afternoon.
For dinner I made myself a large salad, combining mixed lettuce, tomatoes, carrot, red pepper, black olives, celery, capers, pumpkin seeds and cucumber.
Tomorrow I'm off to the organic market in Malaga to pick up my fruit & veg box, which I ordered online yesterday and of course I have that birthday party to go to...where I will be eating some cooked food but I will try to keep it vegan and I am NOT going to drink alcohol otherwise any ounce of self discipline that I have will be lost in copious amounts of red wine...so, sober it is for me. Yes it's a bit boring but I'm on a mission and I'm going to stick to it!
