Lost: 1 lb
One more pound lighter and feeling great! If I can shift a
stone in weight before the end of the month I will be over the moon.
I went back to the gym this morning and I have to admit that
it did feel really good working out. Just losing 6 pounds has made all the difference
to my fitness. Of course I still look very overweight but I don’t feel how I look,
though the sit ups were very funny and I just burst out laughing after
achieving a grand total of 7! I´ll see if I can do 8 next time.
After my public exertion, to my surprise I still had quite a
lot of energy and enthusiasm left. So I channelled
this new found drive into re-arranging my kitchen and having a clear out. I’ve
been meaning to do this for months but have always made excuses to myself and
that I would do it tomorrow or next week….a bit like me going on a diet. Then
one day you realise this can’t go on anymore and it’s time for a change. Shame I
can’t change me around as quickly as the kitchen.
Now I have the kitchen looking just how I want it, I stuck
my virtual chef’s hat on to make a raw zucchini hummus. This is quick and easy
to make as you don’t have to wait for the chick peas to sprout…just grab a zucchini
out of the fridge and ‘Bobs your Uncle’.
2 zucchini
or one very large one……
Juice of one
small lemon
Pinch of sea
salt
1 tsp cumin
1 cup tahini
4 tbsp olive
oil
1 clove
garlic
1/2 cup raw
sesame seeds (best to grind down in a coffee grinder, but no biggy if you don’t)
Bung it all in the food processor and whiz away.
The Raw Raspberry Chocolate Cake was carefully disposed of
last night and already my thoughts are turning to making another one. This is
the only diet I know where you can eat gooey cake and still lose weight! Happy
days!
Hasta pronto
