Weight: 14 stone 5 lb
Lost: 1lb
Total weight loss since day 1: 10 lb
Not even I could believe I could lose 10 lb in 12 days on this raw food diet...I am completely amazed at the weight that has gone from my body, even though I understand that it's not just fat but water as well.
Still feeling really tired today so spent the day resting. Also have a loss of appetite for raw food and my craving for cooked food is worse than ever! When I think of eating raw food I have no hunger for it at all but with the thought of cooked food I could sit down and eat a full roast dinner or a large pizza...or a big bag of chips. I won't go on as this is making me hungry!
So, I have eaten very lightly today, mainly fruit, flax seed crackers and olives.
Even though my body feels tired my mind feels clear, my skin is good, my eyes are bright and I feel positive within myself...it's like I'm two separate people at the moment, with my body not keeping up with the rest of me.
I'm also experiencing a sort of...furry feeling/strange taste in my mouth....I sometimes get a metallic taste too. (Like I've been sucking on one of the radiators for some strange reason and now I'm stuck with the taste!) I realise this is only temporary as my body is going through a cleanse...Thank goodness!
I'm more determined now than ever to stay raw as I know deep down this is doing me the world of good and my resolve is stronger than ever (to my surprise).
The flax seed crackers came out of the dehydrator this morning and tasted like proper, crunchy cooked crackers, amazing!

1 cup flax seeds
2 tbsp flax seed meal ground up flax seeds)
3/4 cup water
3 tsp tamari
3 tsp agave syrup
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Method:
Mix the flax seeds and the flax seed meal in a bowl, then combine water, tamari, agave, onion and garlic powders in a jug, mix thoroughly. Pour the water mix over the flax seed mix, stir thoroughly. Leave for 10-15 mins stirring occasionally until the mix becomes thickened but not too stiff. Spread mix thinly over 2 dehydrator trays (with teflon sheets on) and spread thinly, score lightly with a spatula. Dry at 105º for 12-16 hours, flip crackers over after 5-6 hours. Break crackers along scored lines and store in a container...and enjoy!
Back to the gym tomorrow and hopefully a more energy-filled day.
Hasta pronto
